GOLD PROSPECTING IN THE KING COUNTRY.
[Br TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Ohinemutu, Monday. A gold prospector has arrived here via Taupo from the Tuhua country, and giveß a gloomy account of his journey. He visited the Maipari and the Waipoma streams, but saw no signs of gold in either of them, nor in any part he went through.
