On Friday last the vossel experienced a shook of . earthquake while off Stevens Island. Sailed: S.s. Hauroto, for Sydney; Manawatu, for the West Coast. Manapouri, s.s,, for Auckland, via the East Coast. Passengers: Misseß White, Bunny, Harper, and Keys, Mesdames Weßton, Tyler, Smith and family, Speight, and Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Choyce, Mr. and Mrs. Niccoll, Mr. and' Mrs, Floyd, Mr. and Mrs, Harper, Mr. and Mrs. Daaquen, Mr. and Mrs. Glover and two children, Dr. Willoughby, Messrs. Glendining, Muir, Gallagher, Wood, Lynn, Harris, ttintel, Marsden, Russell, Thorpe, Bell, Harknoy, Evans, Thorburn, Land, Percival, Green, Coxon,- Skelton, Bunny, Lasoelles, Smith, Hawkins, Philcox, Bennett, Walker, Goalen. The Rotorua, with tho outward San Francisco mail, sailed for Taranaki and Manukau at twenty minutes past four this afternoon. Passengers : Messrs. Miles, Delbridge, and Grant, Mr. Cresswell proceeds as mail agent. LYTTELTON. April 26.—Arrived: Hawea, s.s., from Grafton; Go-Ahead, s.s,, from the North, bailed: Hialto, and Firth of Lorne, for United Kingdom. PORT CHALMERS. April 27.—Arrived : Beautiful Star, s.s., fromTimaru; Koranui, s.s., from Invercargill; .Mahinapua, s.s., from the West Coast, via Lyttelton. Sailed: Tongariro, s.s., for Lyttelton ; Coorang, barque, for the Bluff; Koranui, for the West Coast.
