ACTIONS FOR LIBEL.
[BY. TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] New Plymouth, Monday. It is stated that two libel actions are to be heard at the New Plymouth ensuing sittings of the Supreme Court, viz,, Dr. Gibbes and wife against Mr. Samuel (in whioh the plaintiffs seek to recover £4000), and Alexander Boswell against the same gentlemaD, in which the earn of £1000 is sought. Mr. George H utchinson, of Wanganui, is solicitor for all the plaintiffs, and Mr. Govett for the defendant. Mr. Hesketh, oE Auckland, is also retained for the defence in both caeea. Mr. Samuels, it is undoratood, was acting only as solicitor on the express instructions from his clients.
