[FROM OUB own CORRESPONDENT.]
Coromandkl, Saturday. Harbour Vibw Tribute.—Messrs. Parks and Stirling got 148oza. from a very small crushing, it appears they got some picked stone, and the general Btuff looked very well, but they, only expected a few ounces per ton, and, to their astonishment, as soon as they commenced crushing they saw it would be very rich, and cleaned with.the abovo result. The leader is small, but they have a large block still to take out, which iB likely to be equally rich.
Royal Oak.—The manager reports a splendid leader in the bottom level. He is now commencing to drive both ways. The ground is hard, but the' quartz looks so good that gold may be got any minute;, in fact, everyone who has seen it is very confident.
Success are stoping out a first-rate looking reef, but nothing has been seen of any consequence lately. . Naw Find at Tiki.—Mr. J. Fraser yesterday made application for the lease of a pieoe of ground about half way between the battery and Matawai claim. , The prospect obtained is exceedingly good, but very little work has.been done.on>it at present—not sufficient to pronounce as to its richness—but there is no doubt a large ■ quantity of gold has been got in the creek below, and its source has never yet been traced out. If Mr. Fraser has struck, the right place at last, he will stand a chance of becoming a wealthy man. : k Matawai. —This claim is always improving ad it is worked. ' A very large paddoek full of. quartz ia lying ready for the battery, and the. mine throughout is lookiDg better than ever.

No specimens have been obtained, but the stuff will crush well. He is also opening-cut on a branch leader. off the • Green. ; Harp at .the SO, feet level, and getting a good show. of. gold, a very fow rich . specimens ' being obtained. The leader -is small, but is'expectcd to pay handsomely. 'Altogether, the prospects are better in this mine "than; for many months past.
