(Received February 1, 10 p.m.] THE INVALIDATED ELECTIONS. Sydney, February 1. In the Legislative Assembly to-day, the Government Bill for validating the seats of the Hons. G. H. Reid and H. C. Cohen, and Mr. Sutton and others, was under consideration. Mr. Sutton's seat was ultimately declared vacant, in opposition to the Government. IJhe Hon. G. H. Reid announced his intention of seeking re-election. THE SUEZ MAIL. Melbourne, February I. Arrived, this morning : The Orient Company's steamship Garonne, with' the mails via Suez and Brindisi, dated London, December 12, consisting of 195 bags.
