The proportion of reserve to liabilities has fallen to 41 per cent. The bank rate of discount remains at 3 per cent. The market rate has advanced to 2f. Consols remain at 101§. New Zealand securities remain, as follows: —s per cent. 1040 loan, 105 ; 5 per cent. ISB9 loan, 103J-; 4i per cent. 1579-190410 an, lOlf ; 4 percent, inscribed stock, 100. There are no changes to report in the colonial produce market.
