MR. BRADLAUGH'S CASE. London, January 31. It has been arranged that Mr. Bradlaugh shall appear at the bar of the House on the 11th of February, and make a further appeal for admission to Parliament. ABSCONDING STOCKBROKERS. London, January 31. Thomas and Sons, stockbrokers, have become defaulters for an amount of £SOO,OOO, and the principal in the firm has absconded. MARTIAL LAW* IN VIENNA. Vienna, January 31. Owing to the number of murders and outrages recently committed by theSocialists, the ordinary law has been suspended in this city and suburbs, and martial law has been proclaimed. Much alarm prevails at the disturbed state of affairs. THE WRECK OF THE DUKE OF WESTMINSTER. London, February 1. The enquiry into the wreck of the Duke of Westminster, on the coast of the Isle of Wight, concluded to-day. The Court found the master at fault, and suspended his certificate for six months. (Received February 2,1 a.m.) LONDON MARKETS. London, January 31. The total reserve in the Bank of England in notes and bullion is £12,600,000—being a decrease of £100,000 during the week. The proportion of reserve to liabilities has fallen to 41 per cent. The bank rate of discount remains at 3 per cent. The market rate has advanced to 2f. Consols remain at 101§. New Zealand securities remain, as follows: —s per cent. 1040 loan, 105 ; 5 per cent. ISB9 loan, 103J-; 4i per cent. 1579-190410 an, lOlf ; 4 percent, inscribed stock, 100. There are no changes to report in the colonial produce market.
