THE DORIC'S QUARANTINED PASSENGERS.

Dβ. Health Officer, accompanied by Mr. Brophy, immigration agent, and Mr. Laing, shipping clerk to the New Zealand I Shipping Company, proceeded to Motuihi [ yesterday afternionin H.M. Customs launch. Upon her return last evening, from Dr. Philson we learu that he found tho whole of the isolated passengers by tho steamship Doric, from London, in a good state of health, and the children all fully recovered from measlei, acd consequently he at once admitted them to pratique. The passengers who are booked for Southern ports are to be sent on by the steamer Waihora to-morrow. The passengers, whose names we give below, all express themselves as pleased with the manner in which they hive been treated by the Shipping Company, but" they complain somewhat of the inadequate accommodation on the island. The passengers were brought up to town by the hteain launch last evening. The following is a list of those just libcated from their temporary confinement on Motuihi :—Clara Pannifer, Sarah Pannifer, William fcmithers, James Plimsell, Isabel Boyes, Mr. and-Mrs. Nettingham-and child, Mr. and Mra. W. G. Cutley and two children, Mr. Thos. Lantham and child, Mr. and Mrs. W. X, Woods and swo children, Mr. and Mrs. Ormsby and two children, Mr. aDd Mrs. Peek and eleven children, Mr. aud Mrs. J. Persion and child, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Skelton and child. The sick passengers who have now quite recovered from measles are as follows :—E. SkcUon, George Letham, Thomas Woods, W. J. Peck, Wm. Armstrong, William Armstrong, Elizabeth Boyes.
