REVIEW OP GERMAN TROOPS. Berlin, September 21. A review of a large tody of Imperial troops was held to-day at Hornburgh, near Frankfort-on-Main, before the Emperor William. The spectacle, a grand one, was witnessed by King Alphonso of Spain, who is on a visit to the Emperor, and by the English Princes now in Germany. ■ ARCTIC EXPLORATION. • London, September 21. Professor Nordenskjold, the Swedish explorer in Arctic regions,, recently returned from an expedition to Greenland, and reports that the interior, of that country consists of an ice desert of enormous extent, the existence of which was previously unknown. RIOTERS SHOT DEAD. Vienna, September 21. Late reports from Croatia state that the province is still in a disturbed state. Serious anti-Magyar disturbances have taken place at Krentz, a town near Agram. Adelaide flour, ex store, is quoted at 335. The quantity of whea't afloat for Great Britain has increased during the -week by 50,000 quarters, the total today being set down at 1,750,000 quarters. Australian tallow : Best beef, 50s ; best mutton, 40s. Best Sydney copra, sun-dried, is quoted at £20 10s per ton. Australian leather is per lb.
