THE SURREY HILLS ESTATE.
«. Ook readers have already been made aware that tho Surrey Hills Estate has been surveyed into building allotments. The lithograph plana of the survey have been prepared, and can now be obtained from the agent, Mr. A. Boardman. The allotments generally have a road frontage of 50 links, or 33 feet, with a depth of about 114 feet. The situation of the property is well known, and in a short time it will no doubt be largely built upon. On the 3nl of next mouth Messrs. B. Tonks and Co. will sell about 100 of the allotments, situated in different parts of tho property. Some of the allotments to bes sold have a frontage to Ponsonby-road, some to Rich-mond-road, others to the Great Northroad, &e. The allotments are surveyed so h to have a back entrance to a sma'.l right of way, a few feet in width. This will prove of great convenience in the matter of removing refuse, the supply of coal, firewood, &c. These rights of way are too narrow to be used for building purposes, but they will prove very serviceable for what they are intended, and also for drainage purposes. The names of some of our prominent citizens are given to the new etreets which have been surveyed. The terms offered by the sellers are very liberal to purchasers.
