THE NATIVE LANDS COURT AT ROTORUA.
<. fiSVT TKLECiiAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Ohinkmutu, Friday. After two months and a-half of patient hearing, thti Court, presided over by Judges O'Bri;n and Hair, gave judgment on the Rotorua-Patetere-Paeroa block. TheNgatiwh.ikaue -were the principals, but the other hapus came in for their share—viz., Ngatikea and' Tuara, about 20,000 acres of Patetere; the Ngatitura received about half of what they went in for, and the Ngatiwhakao shared with the Ngatiwhakaue in the Whakarewarewa block. There was dissatisfaction amongst some of the losing hapus ; but, generally speaking, it i 3 considered a • very fair and impartial judgment.
