At a late period of last night's sitting in the Legislative Assembly, the adjournment o£ the House "was carried, and Mr. Munro's motion for the appointment of a select committee to investigate the railway administration will be taken as a vote of want of confidence in the Government. Much angry altercation occurred during last night's debate. The Government have announced that a Board will be appointed to assess the amount of compensation to be awarded to the sufferers by the Hawthorn Railway accident.
