THAMES.
Two photographs of the transit of Venus were taken by Mr. l ,v oy at the observatory fitted up by Mr. Grigg. The times of taking were Ghr. lmin. llaecs, and Glir. 32mins. 32secs. respectively. The sun was obsured duriug the latter part of the transit.
