TO THE EDITOR. •Sib, — Some of your readers think it is time this correspondence was closed. The dignified silence of Bishop Cowie is to be commended, while those of his flock who profess so much zeal in the cause of Protestantism would do well to seek some more practical way of manifesting it by protesting against the real evils and sin by which they are surrounded, in the search for which doubtless their worthy Bishop would be «lad to help them, than by anonymous scribbling. How true it is now, as in the days of our Saviour, that man will strain at a gnat and swallow a camel. As to Mr. a few more years' experience will teach him to assure himself of the truth before making uncharitable attacks upon a Christian gentleman from the pulpit.—l am, &c., NOT A CHORCHiiAN".
