MINING ACCIDENT AT THE THAMES.

It appears that two men, Wilsou and Bond, had charged a hole aud lit the fuse, but the shot misfiring they started to drill out tho tamping when, by some means, the powder ignited and exploded. Bond's face is somewhat marked, but not seriously, and his eyesight is not at all affected. The other man, Wilson, cscaped with a few scratches.
