THE MATCH AT CHRISTCHURCH. The first inuiiiga of the Auokland team closed with 32 above the Christchurch score, which stood at 130. The local men then went in for their second innings, and had lost live wickets for a total of li>s, Watson and Ashby being the prineipa 1 scorers. The former, who ia still at the wickets, has succeeded in putting together the excellent score of 02, and Ashby, the Christchurch captain, was only one below the half century when he was caught by Tonks from a ball sent down by Kobinson. The match, which is being closely contested, will probably result in a draw.
