DRAMA.

We have had the Tambour Major Company here fer a month doing a good business. They have now gone South. They played in Napier for a season of six nights with success. We have now here Darbyshire and Stanley's Juvenile Company playing at Abbott's Opera House. They are doing fairly well. Keller's Wonders are announced for next week. Rumour has it that Martin Simonsen is coming up to Auckland with an opera company. This is doubtful. People may have too much of a good thing, and opera all the year round is a trifle beyond local means to pay for. If the chance is good enough Mr. Simonsen will be heartily welcome.
