[bt tbi,boravii.~riti'>s a«s n:iArn».\] , Tuesday. Tiik first steamer of the New Zealand Shipping Company's line will pri>L-rutl to Wellington :m<l J,yttelton, .mil loads at the latter port. In a month after that the directors of the company will be open to m:ike satisfactory arrangements for loading steamers of their line at Port Chalmers auil other places as trade may warrant. The steamers are all to be litted with the most approved refrigerating machinery, and are uot likely to exceed a draft of 2*2 feet to 2:i feet loaded. The passenger accommodation of the boats which are being built for the company by Messrs. Khler of the Clyde, will be of the most superior description, and the vessels will be fitted with all the modern appliances. The sea-going speed will be 12 knots. With such boats, a forty-five to fifty days' service, with easy running, will be assured.
