Chairman' stated that the' committee "appointed to' re-Jet the properties, the leases of which fell in this month, had re-let to' most of -the existing tenants on ■weekly rental-yielding an increased revenue to the Board.—lt was . resolved '. that.- the action of the sub-committee be approved. Evbxixo Classes.:—A letter,- was;.read from .Mr. C. .A. Robertson, late, assistantmaster, asking the Board to give ; him a certificate or testimonial.—lt was resolved that' Mr; ZRobertson (in reply' be i informed that'the Board" are of'" opinion'.the "letter already sent to : him is a sufficient acknowledgment of the services: hohad rendered, and that the Board proposes to make other arrangements with regard' to the evening classes. .i-.
Parsklu—The - Secretary, reportedi that Strand-lane abuttirig the Board's property, in Parnell was in a most trnsafe and - dangerous condition.—lt was agreed that the"'secretary, should inform-the Borough Council of the state of that street.. - - r ■
