An awfully sudden death occurred to-day. Wm. Blick came into town in order to be present at the Agricultural i-how and act as one of the judges. As he was walking down High-street to the place where the show was being held, he was met by a friend, to whom he remarked, "I think I am going to have a fit." Wolfe, manager of the Mastodon Minstrels, has filed his schedule. ASHBURTON, Monday. Mr. Iress addressed a large meeting o£ the Wakanui electoi*, in the Town Hall, 'tonight, and received a unanimous vote, of thanks and confidence. The election takes place on the 9th of June.
