April 28.—Sailed : Melgrovo, for the United Kingdom. Thti schooner Jcsnie which was stranded some daya ago at tho mouth of the Waimakirikiri, was taken off the haul to-day, but as soon as sho got into tho stream sunk. The uieu on hoard had some difficulty in escaping. May 3. —Sidled : Lock Eck, ship, for Cal utta. . ! ftluy (J.—Sailed: Midlothian, ship, for Cork i or Falmouth for orders. I May 11.—Arrived : Barquo Tamerlane, from London. CHRISTOHURCFI. May 9. —The New Zealand Shipping Company's Hurunui arrived at London on May 8. POUT CHALMERS. May 12—Tho Invercargiil, Captain Muir, from Glasgow, on February 16, with 31 passexigersj all well.
