REPORTED OUTBREAK OF SMALL-POX. Melbourne, May 15. A report is current that an outbreak of small-pox has occurred at Garlton. The doctors, however, differ as to the exact nature of the disease, which is believed to be only a case of chicken-pox.
THE MAORI DEPUTATION. TO THE QUEEN. Melbourne, May 15. The deputation of Maoi'is from Auckland to present a petition to the British Parliament, left here for England to-day by the Orient steamship Cotopaxi.
VICTORIA AND THE DUBLIN ASSASSINATIONS. TELEGRAM FROM MR. GLADSTONE. Melbourne, May 15. Sir Bryan O'Loghlen has received a telegram from Mr. Gladstone, expressing the gratification of the country at the colony's sympathy in regard to the assassination of Lord Cavendish and Mr. Burke.
THE NEW STEAMSHIP LINE. Melbouhxe, May 15. Arrived: Steamship Aberdeen, 2371 tons, from London. She is the pioneer of Messrs. George Thompson and Oo.'s new line.
THE VICTORIAN MINISTRY. Melbourne, May 15. The division on Mr. Berry's vote of vranfc of confidence in the Ministry -will take place to-morrow in the Assembly.
MELBOURNE BREADSTUFFS MARKET. Melbourne, May 15. Breadstuffs are now very firm.
