[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Friday evening. To-day has been observed a close holiday. The usual demonstration of the Hibernian Society took place. The members accompanied by the children attending the Roman Catholic schools proceeded to Parawai, where a number of games and sports were indulged in. A considerable number of persons availed themselves of the excursion to Paeroa to witness the Ohinemuri races.
