MORE TICHBORNES IN THE FIELD.

Fdrtitik complications of the most extraordinary kind seem likely to arise out of the famous Tichborne case. Several now claimants have arisen and are constantly arising in America ; and there appears to be hardly a city in the United States where there is not to be found at the present momenta "veritable Sir Roger Tichborne." As to the original old claiment in Dartmoor prison, his nose appears to be put thoroughly out of joint by his new rivals. And, what is still more distressing, duplicates of the witnesses who gave evidence at the trials are also cropping up. One of these, "Jules Berrant, the alleged former valet of that particular Sir Roger Tichborne whose alias is Charles Ogden Ferris," was interviewed the other day in the city of Buffalo by a correspondent of the New York papers, who found him in a state of great indignation because it had been reported that he had not been Sir Roger's servant, and that the genuine valet had given evidence at a former trial. The man who testified under his name was, he alleged, "an impostor." His evidence, had it been given, would have clearly proved that the " then claimant" was an imposter. His testimony was therefore suppressed. He did not then know whether Sir Roger was dead or alive. "Things are very different now;" and he would give "some startling and convincing evidence when the time comes." All the new claimants rre expected to leave America for London in the course of the next twelve months.
