A call of 3d per share has been made upon the shareholders in the Albion Gold-mining Company, payable on or before the 9th November. Messrs. Carpenter and Byron, having sold their farm at Te Kowbai, have instructed Mr. J. S. Buckland to sell their farm stock and farming implements, by public auction, on the 19th instant. The anniversary services in connection with St. Lake's Church, Kouot Albert, are to be held on Sunday. At the morning service Holy Communion will be administered at 11 o'clock, the preacher the Eight Rev. the Bishop; and in the evening the Bev. ( B. T. Dudley will conduct the service.
