The programme of the Waitara Jockey Club annual races appears in another column. Tke races take place on the Ist January. There are no fewer than nine events on the programme, the highest money being the AViitara Jockey Club Handicap, £75. The nominations for the handicaps close on the 19th November, the weights to be declared on the 20th November, and acceptances and general entries have to be made on 21st December.
