To-day Mr. A. Buckland will sell at tho Haymarkct, on account of Mr. SI. Edgar, the wellknown racehorse Ariel, by Dainty Ariel out of Una.

Among the views will be some of the KotomahanaLakes, Pink, and White Terraces; the Zulu War, death and burial of the Prince Imperial, etc. The entertainment will be brought to a close with a splendid real waterfall, shooing the water of different colours, also nrodncing the rainbow 'across the falls. Tho entertainment is spoken of very highly by those who saw it at Devonport, and should draw a good hou=o at Onehunga to-night.

Mr. B. Keane announces through our advertisement columns that he has been appointed sole agent for Southgate's Mahurangi hydraulic ground roche lime, and is prepared to supply It in any quantity. On Sunday evening Professor Fraser will deliver a lecture in the Temperance Hall on " The Millennium." The lecture will begin at at a quarterpast 8 o'clock. To-day at 11 o'clock Messrs. B. Touksatd Co. will sell by auction a large quantity of fruit from Hobart by the Penguin. , To-morrow Mr. A. Bucklana "will sell at the residence of Mr. W. .Albyn Martin, East Tamaki, a large quantity of farm stock, farm implements, etc. The sale begins at noon. To-day Messrs, G. "W. Binney and Co. vriM sell at their stores a large quantity of fruit from Hobart.
