The total births in the above boroughs amounted to 433, against 446 in June, being a decrease of 13, The deaths amounted to 16g in July, a . decrease of seven on the number for June. Of the above deaths, males contributed 99, the females 74. Fifty-eight of the deaths were of children under five years of ape, being 55.36 per cent, of the whole number. Forty of these were of children under one year of age.
