In one of his despatches Earl Granville, the present Foreign Secretary; states that England will oppose any interference .by France in the affairs of Tripoli, and his Lordship further advises the' Porte to act with prudence in ita policy towards France, in regard to that province. The news to hand from Pretoria is that the trial of several Boers arrested for the murder of Mr. Malcolm during the war has resulted in their acquittal. The jury was composed of Boers.
