IRISH RELIEF FUND
The following further subscriptions have been received for the above fund :—Supplementary list of Tauranga contributionsThomas Oilman, 7s Gel ; John Fielding, 103 ; J. P. Stoddard, £1 Is; J. R. Smith, 10s Cd ; Charles King, 10s ; Fred. A. Purvis, 5s ; Kobert Sims, 10s; B. McDonnell, 10s; J. Hamilton, ss; Joseph Wylic, jun., 555; W. Gcissler, 53 ; J. J. Cobb, 10s Gd; W. Bird 23 Gd ; A. 13. Kelley, 10s Gd ; J. C. I'oung, £2 2s: total, £7 7s. His Worship the Mayor has received the following additional subscriptions to the Irish Relief FundW. Robinson, £1; J. J. Mackay, £1. The gross amount received to date is £1556 7s, from which expenses have to be deducted. The previous remittance to the Mayor of Dublin was £1150, and the balance will be forwarded by the outgoing mail to-morrow. A sum of £400 was sent separately by the Thames people, so that Auckland will make the very creditable figure in the list of contributions from the colonies to the extent of nearly £2000.
