[REUTER'S TELEGRAMS.] Sydney, December 10. The Treasurer has introduced his Financial Statement. The revenue for last financial year was £4,525,000, and expenditure was £5,275,000. The estimated revenue for next year i 5£4,7.02,000, and expenditure £4,985,000. The deficit is to be covered by an increase of taxes on stamps, spirits, Is ; wines (sparkling), 43 ; others, Is ; beer, 3d ; tobacco (leaf), 3d ; manufactured, 0d ; cxcise duties, beer and tobacco, 3d. NEW ZEALAND CATTLE AT THE SYDNEY SHOW. Sydney, December 9. No prizes were awarded to the New Zealand exhibits at the Cattle Show. Maclean, and Co.'s Duke of Newcastle was commended.
