The three-masted schooner John Watson, which had nut to sea owing to the iieivy weather in the roadstead, suuk at 4 o'clock on Saturday morning, about 10 miles off the coast, and 30 south of Timaru. The crew were saved. .She was under the command of Captain HorD, and had between 151) and 200 tons coal on hoard. November 3d.—At the oiHoial iuquiry into the wreck of the John Watson, the court Jecided that the master was uot to blame, and returned his certificate.
