Messrs. Whitelaw and Co. report that this afternoon they offered for sale by auction a cargo of the new season's sugar, ex Eruily, from Mauritius. There was a full attendance of the trade, and after a spirited competition, the whole cargo was sold as follows: Fino yellow, £33; finest yellow, £3ft 10s; brewer's crystals, £o4 10s to £37 ;">s ; tine grey, £30 5s to £37 12s ; finest white, £37 17s Od to £3S -a ; suowdrop, £3S 7s Od to £33 10s. |
