On April 4th and other days (according to notice posted at He'ensville, Riverhead, and Kaipara Steamship Company's Office Auckland), the Tiain will wait at Helensville until 6 p.m. On those occasions, the 5 p.m. Train from Riverhead ti> Helensville will not run ; a Train leaving KiTerhcad at 7.30 ; p.m., timed as above, will be »übstituted. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to tho dispatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and, n the event of any circumstances arising , , eiiher during or prior to the journey hcinir made, which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares 1 a'd, but does not undertake to forward the Passengers. No Luggage will be aUosyed to bo taken into the c Triagts, unless of such a size that it can bo placed under the seat without inconvenience to other Pas engerd. Passengers are strongly recomm-nded to have their Names and tho Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to Kitisfy themselves that it is placed on the Train, as the Railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Horses, Carriages, &c.—The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horees and Carriages by any particular T; ain ; but when sent, they must be at the forwarding Station half-an-hour before the departure of tho Train. The Owners of Horses must provide means for securing them in the Horse-box, and the Railway Department will not be accountable Tor any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Hordes. At Country stations requisitions for Horse-boxes or Carriage-trucks must be made the day before they are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in carriages, and the sender must obtain a Ticket, t-i be giren up before the end of the journey before the Dog is delivered. Return Ticket-", for distances not exceeding 25 mi cs. aro available on day of issue only; for each additional 25 miles, or fraction thereof, one day extra is allowed. Keturn or Periodical Tickets -will not be available for Special and Excursion Trains, except when the Ordinary Time Table is suspended. All Tickets used for Return later than the day of issue must be presented at tho Ticket Window, and re-dated before tho Passenger enters the Train for the Return Journey. Any Person neglecting to get his Ticket re-dated will have to pay the Ordinary Fare. Ordinary Single Tickets, issued on Saturdays and Sundays, aro available as Return Tickets until tho end of tho following Monday, when re-dated as above. * Flag Statioss—Trains do not stop at these uniesa required. Notice should be given the Guard at the previous (topping Station. SrKciAt. NOTIOB.—To ensure despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Doss must be at the Station at least FIFTEEN MINUTES before the Advertised Time of departure of Train.
