AUCKLAND STOCK AND SHAREMARKET.

There is very little change to report in the state of the market. Bank of New Z-saland shares (now issue) are offered at £IS. with buyers at lower rates. Until after the 31st of March thero is not likely to be much business in those stocks. National Bank find buyers at C7s. with few sellers under par (70s). Colonial Banks'havc been done at 40*. Insurance company shares have fallen considerably. Thero are buyers of South British at 52', and sa'es at 55s ; New Zealand, fellers Gss. The market for mining shares h.s bo-:n very depressed. Ncg dlations have been originated to start the pump. Until this is successfully accomplished, we cannot expect to see much speculation on the Boldficld. The Premier mine Is reported to have come on togold, and shares quickly advanced from 5s to Bs. The followirg quotations will give a fair idea of the present value and sales effected Uuyers.
