RUSSELL. March I.—Arrived: Steamers Wanaka and Ida. Sailed : Colliers Annie and Telegraph. The little steamer Ida (late Transit) arrived this morning at 7 o'clock, and will commence to run as a feiry steamer between Russell, Paihia, and Kawakawa, carrying mails and passengers. Mr. R. W. Moody, consulting engineer of the coal mines, has taken a great deal of trouble to secure this boon for the travelling public. As there are now so rnauy steamers calling here, we may expect more visitors. TAURANGA. March I.—Arrived, 9.30 p.m. : S.s. Rowena, from Auckland. NAPIER. March 2.—Sailed, Saturday, midnight: S.s. Tararua, for Auckland.
