London, February 1. The Zulu war lias commenced. The Iviu" refused to listen to the British ultimatum. and the troops immediately crossed the frontier, attacking and carrying the principal outposts. Owing to repeated inroads on the settlements on the Guinea Coast, the Portuguese Government has declared war on the hostile tribes. A strong expeditionary force is being fitted out. THE MONEY MARKET. REVIVAL IN AUSTRALIAN SECURITIES. THE WOOL MARKET. LOXDON", February 1. The money market is rather firmer. The bank resorve is stronger, amounting to nearly thirteen millions. The stock markets are firm. Consols, og;. The market for Australian securities has experienced a strong revival. The corn market is unchanged. A quantity of inferior New Zealand is in the market. Wools are quiet at current rates. There is a recovery in the demand for fine wools, and business is less depressed.
