ARATAPU.
The shipping were all decorated \ to-day in honor of the wedding of Mr. Ludlow, bookkeeper, at the Aratapu Mills, who returned to-day with his bride. Mr. Alli ight is on a visit of inspection to the new schoolhouse, and ia well satisfied at what work is completed. The s.s. Southern Cross went up the river to Mangawliare this morning to discharge sheop for iMr. Harding's new Tun, and Bhe returns to load timber here, taking about 100,000 feet. -The Fawn, Derwent. Linda Weber, Flora, CJamillo, and Lookout are loading here, and the Wellington, Lotus, Ethel, Julius Vogel, and Emperor at Kopuru. —[Own Correspondent, January 29.]
