Leave of Absence. —Mr. Harrison, teacher of the Hepbui n-atreec school, applied for leave of absence on accuuut of ill health, and forwarded a medical certificate.—The application was granted. lOkikikiuoa.—This was an application for a school site. —It was agreed to send the application to the Commissioner of Crown L'mds. MaTaKohE. —The contractor who sent in the lowest tender for the erection of the Matakohe school not being kuuwn to the engineer, it was referred 10 the looil committee to ascertain whether he was a competent contractor. —The committee now repotted iu the allirmative, and the tender was accepted.
