EARL BEACOUSFIELD ON THE BERLIN TREATY AND CYPRUS.
[REUTER'S SPECIAL CABLEGRAM?.] London, December 19. Earl Beaconsfield, in replying to a deputation of Britishers from California, said the Berlin Treaty of Peace was the be3t obtainable, although there might be persons who considered its execution undesirable, nevertheless the signatory Powers were determined to see it executed. He declared that the Cyprus station was not inferior to Malta.
