The brig Elliotts cleared out at the Customs yesterday for Newcastle, ami is to sail at an early hour this morning. The schooner Linda Weber, from Timaru with grain and produce, kc. r may be expected hourly. The Union Co.'s s.s. Hawea will return from Russell this morning, ami is announced to sail for the East Coast and South at 4 o'clock this evening. The schooucr Belle Brandon hauled alongside the ship City of London yesterday and will discharge her cargo of copra into the London vessel. The schooner Advance, Captain Bennett, sailed yesterday from the Thames for Hurunui, Gore li.'.y, with 33,000 fecfc of sawn kauri timber from, the Shortland Sawmill, to the order of Messi*s.
