UNIFORM FOR RAILWAY OFFICIALS.
To the Editor of the Herald. Sir, —Will you kiudly allow me through your columns to suggest to the railway authorities the necessity of providing the various officials on the line with uniform. At present passengers, and particularly such as are travelling for the first time, have the greatest difficulty iu ascertaining whoare, and who are not, the servants connected either with the train, or with tho various stations. The mistakes that must arise from this state of matters are so numerous and so obvious that I wonder at its existing.—l am, &c, Hetde. Mercer, June C, 1576.
