THE MAIL SERVICE.
The Macgregor arrived from San Francisco yesterday, with the English ?jid American mails. This is the last mail urder the temporary contract, ■which has been, so successfully carried out by the Australasian Steam Navigation Company. It was the largest mail that has ever been received by this line. The Colima left San Francisco on the 10th ult. for Fiji, where she mil connect -with the Cyphrenes, and would then proceed to Sydney. The Cyphrenes will then come on to this port and proceed ■ South, and return in time to take the next outward mails on the 19fch inst. The Cyphrenes may be expected to arrive here at any moment.
