A REQUEST TO "A. B."
To the Editor of the Herald. Sir,—ln the sensational letter signed "A. B," in your issue of yesterday, occurs the following passage:—"The very air of such schools is impregnated with irreligion or materialism. His [Dr. Wallis'j experience as a member oi chairman of a school board may have confirmed him in this view." This should scarcely be said by any one without some reasonable attempt to prove it ; and, further, tho writer's name should be given to the public. I request "A. B." to prove his statements, and appear iu proper person before the public.—l am, &c., John Edwards. Regent-street, Kyber Pass, Jan. 29, 1875.
