THAMES, Monday. The Junction tributersare having asplendid crushing of 13 tons general stuff. They have 129 ozs. of hard amalgam already in hand. The Manukau have obtained some splendid stone close to the north side of the slide. The Caledonian have crushed 58 tons during the past week, for 03 ozs. retorted gold. The Albion Company (Poverty Tribute) crushed 55 tons, for 17S.V ozs. melted gold. The Queen of Beauty lodgment of gold on Saturday was not a final one ; another 250 ozs. or so will be brought in to-morrow, and will swell the total to nearly 1100 ozs. The Shamrock battery started this morning with 15 stampers for the tributers of the \Vest Coast Company, and five for the Thames Scottish, to be followed by a parcel of 21 tons from Messenger's tribute. Sales: Caledonian, £9 10s; Cure, 10s; Crown Prince, 23s 6d. Buyers: Caledonian, £9 5s ; Black Angel, 3s Gd; Cure, 9s Gd; City of London, 275; Bird-in-Haud, 235; Albion (first issue), 60s. COROMANDEL, Monday. There is very little change in the mining to wire. The New Zealand Company's crushing battery lias changed hands. Bishop Cowie's lecture is well attended ; Major Keddell in the: chair. Mr. "Edward Tole, survey or, has arrived to commence surveying the Coroimv.idel and Mercury Bay track. The commencc-msnt of the work gives much satisfaction to the se.„filers in the various districts. TAURANGA, Monday. The story relative to £3000 being paid to the natives of Maketu is a fabrication. The-good effects of Templarism are telling forcibly on the Customs revenue, and are almost altogether doing away with tlia duties of the Magistrate's Court.
