To the Editor of the Herald. ® IK > My attention lias just been called, to a paragraph in your issue of Wednesday, relative to a correspondence in the Wellington papers about payment for seats occupied by the Governor and suite during the late opera season there. I beg leave to state that no one has had my authority for making auy application whatever to His Excellency ; and the first intimation of the matter I have received is by the above-mentioned paragraph.
