To the Editor of the Heeald. Sib, —I notice that your quotation of gum this day is £17. This is a great mistake, and is calculated to mislead a large portion of the community. Ordinary fair gum is readily Bold at £23, on the wharf, within a few hours of ito being there. For the laat four or five months the quotations of the prices of gum in the papers have been sis to eig P° under the real value. —I ani» c *' Qmt May 21,1873.
