Mails will close as under: For Thames, this day, at 10.30 a.m., and 5.30 p.m. For Kapanjja, Ac., per Royal Alfred, this day, at 11.30 a.m. For Russell, &c., per Comerang, this day, at 1 p.m. Per p.s. Nevada, this day, as follows : — For Sandwich Islands, liritish Columbia, United States of America, British Central, and South America, British and Foreign West Indies, and Continent of Europe via London, at 4.30 p.m. For Unit'd Kingdom via San Francisco, at 4.30 p.m. for money orders, registered letters and newspapers, at 3 p.m. I te letters for United States of America and United Kingdom, b* • -iug a late fee of Gd in addition to the postage, will be received at this office till 5 p.m., and by the Mail Agent on board the steamer up to time of sailing. For Whitiangi, per Mercury, this day, at 5 p.m. For Mahurangi, Warkworth, Matakana, &c., per Lady Howen, to-morrow, at 10 a.m. For Gisborne, perTawera, to-morrow, at 3 p.m. For Tahiti, per Que2ll, »>n Monday, the 2Gth. For Taranaki and Southern Provinces, per s.s. Wellington, immediately after arrival of p.s. Nebraska.
Note.— A post-office will be opened at Ivirikiriroa. near HanvUon, on Ist March next; mails will be made up on sair.edays as for Hamilton. S. B. Bias, Chief Postmaster.
