At Ihe request of Mr. Hague Smith and Mr. J. Dickey, Mr. Joseph Reilly has tested a sample of "Downer's" kerosene oil, and hns kindly handed us the following cert ilicnlo of result, which we publish for tiio benefit of our readers. We may mention that tho thermometer used by Mr. Reilly is one of 120 ° Fahrenheit, and it is believed by that gentleman that "Downer's" brand would stand over that amount. Mr. Philips, chairman of| the City Board, was preient at the testing.
