Applications for tickets "will be received in Auckland by the Honorary Secretary, Mr. William James Dalton, at his Office, Highstreet, and by Messrs. Daltox & Holmes, Grabamstown. Letters from Southern Provinces and country districts containing applications for tickets must be accompanied by cheque or P. O. order for tbe amount, or, if money is enclosed, should be registered, and tickets will be forwarded by return post. Ten per ccnt. of the gross proceeds of the sale oftiekets will be retained by the Honorary Treasurer, Mr. Voy Stuiuier, who has kindly consented to act in that capacity, and will be handed over to the committee of the Thames Hospital on behalf of the funds of that institution immediately after the drawing of the prizes, which will take place under the supervision of a committee, to be appointed by the members subscribing then present. A list of the successful numbers will be published. Mb. James Wriglet and Mn. W. Lloyd bave consented to audit the accounts on behalf of the Hospital.
