AUCKLAND REGATTA, 1870.
The Committee of the Auckland Kegafta Olub met last evenincr at the Olub Eoom, Thames Hotel, for the purpose of arranging the programme and other preliminaries for the ensuing year. The programme decided upon last evening is certainly the best we have seen for Several yeurs part. The greater number of tho sailing matches are to come off in the morning, and the principal rowing matches after luncheon. Altogether there wiil be twelve races —five for sailing vessels and seven for rowing. In a few days the programme will be placed before the public, and persons wishing to subscribe can obtain their tickets from the following gentlemen, who have been elected a Committee for the ensuing year :—Captain Anderson, Captain Clayton, Captain Casey, Captain Daldy, Captain WiUiamaon, Messrs. Von der Heyde (Chairman), J. Coplard, H. Brett, G. Henderson, J. J. Fitzaibbon, 1 , . E. Guilding, T. Niccol, L. D. Nathan, J. Weymouth, and Mr. M'Siccol (Eon. Sec.)-
